Mark began his insurance claim career as a claim administrator and marketing manager for a personal injury law firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. He eventually became the firms case manager overseeing the daily operations of the firm, claims processing and negotiating, managing the law firm staff, marketing, website management and blogger.
As the negotiating and settling of claims became a prominent responsibility, he decided to obtain his Florida Public Adjuster license and focus on first party (property damage) claims. He became a consistent top producer at a large public adjusting firm located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
After two years working as a Public Adjuster, Mark was approached by a top first party Miami law firm and offered the position as the Claim Administrator for the firm. There he oversaw the first party pre-litigation departments for the firm’s locations located in Miami and Orlando. He was also partly responsible for starting the firm’s Personal Injury pre-litigation department. Mark’s experience in handling both first and third party created unique background within the industry. His attention to detail and management experience in the world of high volume claim processing resulted in the settlement of over 1000 claims for the firm.
Mark also has experience in catastrophic losses such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and hail. He spent five months in the Florida Panhandle representing homeowners and business owners with their insurance claims for losses caused by Hurricane Michael. Prior to Hurricane Michael, Mark represented homeowners for losses due to Hurricane Irma.
Mark also has commercial claim adjusting experience. He has successfully adjusted large commercial losses caused by water damage and fire damage.
Currently, Mark has handled upwards of 5000 claims in his career. His business experience in negotiating, marketing, and management for large and small companies spans the course of 30 years. That experience has not only given him the ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of his clients, but also grow his business into a successful public adjuster firm.
Mark served in the United States Coast Guard for 8 years as a search and rescue coordinator. The combination of Mark’s strong leadership and professional business experience helps assist in effectuating a positive outcome for his clients. He is IICRC Water Restoration Certified and is currently studying for his Florida Roofing Contractor license. He holds public adjusting licenses in South Carolina and North Carolina. He is a member of the BNI Dadeland Chapter and is on the Foundation Board for CHI (Community Health Centers) in Miami. Mark is a loving husband, father, and native Floridian. He enjoys time with his family, working out, the outdoors, music, and successfully settling claims for his clients.
